and thank you for that info; i will try that setting method. My chain tensioner looks the same like the one that Chris posted a picture of in Arhturs thread.
As for the oil, i use Dexron II D, that specs were formulated ín the early '70s, the time our Silks were born.
But your concern seems true, cause I have been told by an ROWE-OIL representative, NOT to use modern spec. ATF oil in any automatic transmission, older than 1995, cause of the additives.
