On the Road

I finished my kick start mod with the Velo unit, I have also replaced handlebars with clip-on's and replaced the seat unit with a better unit.
Yesterday I covered just over 50 miles without a hitch, no kick start movement, smoke from the exhaust but not too much, sitting at 60 mph running in. Seems a little advanced on ignition and a slight oil leak from the pump, but a big smile. Pulled in at the local Kawasaki branch,"bloody hell a Silk, don't see many of those". Instant friends.
I do have an adjustment to make, too much gear lever movement at my foot, so i need to make a new arm on the gearbox end.
