steering Yoke removal on 700

When taking the yoke apart i was very surprised to find only a nut pressed into the machine knob is there no pinch bolt to hold this tight it seems to me anyone could loosen the steering yoke without the use of a spanner is this correct?.

Hi Peter must be an earlier bike as the later did away with this knob and just had a lock nut.
If you are worried you could go down that route?
