Winter storage

Hi all I am thinking after a couple more runs about storing the biike for winter. I have expensive coolant in the engine with an protective additive should I still drain this off if not using the bike for a couple of months?

Thanks paul

If I was you and after all the horror stories with engines filled with water I would carefully drain it into a clean container ready for reuse when you next use it. You can also keep a record of age so the antifreeze does not life expire. Your lucky you have the choice, mines still in bits after the liner saga.

New equipment in my shed, a Colchester student, now about to convert to single phase and then it's a crankshaft repair job. Any joy on last e-mail ?  Kev
