Urgent Lumenition request

Hi All I have a few Silks I am working on at present, one needs a new Lumenition pick up which I cannot find.
Has anyone got a spare pickup to help get another Silk back on the road or any ideas on the new style pick ups??

Anything appreciated even a failed one that I could try to make one out of two.

Cheers Paul

Lumenition did, at one time, make an adaptor to enable use of Mk16 power module with a Mk17 Optical switch. Lumenition part number AK1.  They very rarely come up on EBay.  Still have to modify the mounting plate for the optical switch because the fixing points are different between the Mk16 and Mk17 switches and the lead comes out the opposite side to the original.

When I googled “lumenition repairs”, I found a link to the lotuselan.net forum who mention an eBay seller who repairs the optical eye for 35 gbp. May be worth a look as the electronic parts are cheap as chips.

Hi thanks for that but that was my plan as I am a retired Aerospace Eng.
I now have four complete MK16 set ups and working on the MK17 replacement kit.
