I rode the Silk to a bike show near Nettlebed on Saturday and it was very hot. It started and ran perfectly to the show but would not start when I went to leave. It had a spark and there was petrol in the carb. Not even a glimmer of wanting to start with choke on or off and the plugs were very dry. We striped the carb and nothing found and petrol flowing ok. Tried bump starting and nothing. Taken home by recovery. Left in the garage until Tuesday afternoon, turned the petrol and ignition on and started ok. I had changed nothing. Any ideas why it wouldn't start on Saturday? Doesn't give me much confidence to use it in hot weather.
Thanks for any suggestions.
