Kick start response

Is it usual to get "feedback" from the kickstart lever when closing the throttle (in all gears)? Is this a feature of backlash on overrun? I find my lever which my boot is hard against whilst riding gives a quite noticeable series of impacts against my leg during this operation.

This is normal on my bike too, you do get sort of used to it!

Hi Nick,
Thanks for that, I was a bit concerned! I've actually angled the kickstart further forward so  my leg isn't against it. Out of sight, out of mind. Took it out for a 35 mile shake down ride the other day, no problems, reached the heady speed of 63.5 mph, which seemed quite fast enough with the current road surfaces!
