Fork oil

Nick
Re-staring improvements. will call you Arthur and Paul

I have drained my forks- the oil was in much better condition than I expected with no contamination
form moisture etc is still a green colour.

Does anyone know which company uses green? as I would like, if posible to avoid mixing two companies oil.
Having said that- the forks have been allowed to drain for 24 hours so there will be little left of the old oil.

I have been told 1/2 pint per leg Bel ray 10w for soft
                                                           15w for firm
Has anyone played with the amount in each leg as was common in the 70/80s to increase the air also acting as a damper?

Any thoughts appreciated
