Expansion vessel

we go one problem to another- while fiddling as one does with the overflow pipe fixing, it broke away from the expansion vessel is there anything special about the this part of the unit - looks like a replacement is necessary any help with supplier of this component would be appreciated presumably its sweated in to the vessel some how?

Hi Peter I have seen them braised back in or even aralditited?? I can have it brasied if need be?

If you wanted one made from scratch you could send yours to Terry Weedy to replicate he is a wizard with alloy.

Paul Thanks for your help so far does the expansion vessel need to have a radiator cap? or can this vessel breath openly?

The cap is a standard BSA / Triumph screw on oil cap from an oil in frame bike.
