Christophs Silk - Crankshaft

Hendrik
Hello,
the stator of Christophs Silk is fixed with a circlip. We wonder if this is original.
Furthermore the crankshaft end and the cover look like it was the intention to add a bearing.
The crankshaft end has a radial run-out of 0,15 mm. I think it's a lot, isn't it?
Please, do you have some info?
Many thanks in advance
and best regards,
Hendrik

Since nobody has replied yet who might recognise your setup, my Silk alternator rotor is retained by a nut on the end of the crankshaft and there is no extension for an outboard bearing. Held in place by a circlip means the drive to the rotor is through the key which is unusual, the key is usually for location and then the rotor is clamped with a nut to take the drive.  I can't comment on the runout of the crank.
Hope this helps.

Hi Hendrick will have a check thru a box of factory factory slides but it will take ages as over 300 I think !

Thus the reason the book has stalled I'm trying to work out a way of including these super rare pictures !
